South Mississippi came to the rescue in New York City after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, and the New York firefighters returned the favor after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The Tunnel-to-Towers run from Ocean Springs to Biloxi this weekend will renew the partnership and raise money in honor of a firefighter who died on 9/11, leaving behind five children.
