Because Stephen was an orphan by age ten and later became a loving father of five, the Foundation strives to make a positive and lasting impact in the lives of children who are orphaned or have lost a parent.
Stephen’s House of the New York Foundling
The Foundation co-chaired the capital campaign for a residential home providing a temporary haven for orphaned and/or broken teenagers so that they might live productive and fulfilling lives. Stephen’s name on the front of the home high on a hill in Staten Island, New York, gives witness to his love of children and commitment to caring about those in need.
Stephen’s House of the Maison d’Enfants par la Foi Orphanage
After the earthquake in Haiti, the Foundation committed to join New Hope Baptist Church to help raise funds to relocate an orphanage for over 100 children who need a safe place to heal and thrive. This project is still ongoing and the needs of the children remain immense. For more information email: Info@Tunnel2Towers.org or to donate please click here: Offline Donation Form
Legacy of Love and Wings of a Hero Awards
Since the inception of our Foundation we have helped local children in need who are orphans or have lost a parent. We have done this through our Legacy of Love and Wings of a Hero awards to assist in education, counseling and other needs.
Hurricane Sandy Relief
In response to our community’s tragic loss, the Foundation has worked to restore the lives of families devastated by Hurricane Sandy. The Foundation set up a Relief Center where disaster victims received essential food items and supplies to restore their lives. The Foundation has worked tirelessly with thousands of volunteers to gut houses, provide clean up, and restore damaged homes.
