Line of Duty Death: September 3, 2020

Massachusetts State Trooper Thomas Devlin passed away on September 3, 2020, two years after he was struck by a driver while conducting a traffic stop on July 26th, 2018. 

He valiantly underwent numerous surgeries over the following years before succumbing to complications of the injuries. 

The 58-year-old had served the Massachusetts State Police for 35 years. 

He leaves behind his wife Nancy, and four children, Matthew, Rachel, Paul,  and Hannah. 

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation paid off the mortgage on the family’s Wilmington home as part of the 2020 Season of Hope.Â
