Excitement builds each and every moment in the days leading up to a home dedication ceremony through the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation’s Building for America’s Bravest program. Recently, the Tunnel to Towers staff had the honor of, once again, assisting in the preparation of a smart home for one of our catastrophically injured service members; this time for SGT Bryan Dilberian on Staten Island. There is no greater feeling than to play a part in making the home spectacular!

On the evening of September 9th, following a full day in the office, our staff drove over to Bryan’s house ready to help with the finishing touches. If you’ve ever been involved with home construction, repairs, or remodeling – you know how much dust piles up. The staff was tasked with making the home spotless! We worked together wiping down tile and light fixtures, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning window sills, and much more. And, it’s all done with smiles and enthusiasm, for the staff’s only interest is making a difference in the beauty of Bryan’s home. It felt so good to be doing something so wonderful for someone who is so deserving.

The staff was excited to participate in another last minute detail; the interior design. Beautifying the home, filling each room with warmth and love, was incredibly special for all involved. As each room was completed, the excitement for Bryan grew. We all care deeply for Bryan, as well as for all of the service members in the Building for America’s Bravest program.

The staff left that evening filled with excitement, hope, and love for SGT Bryan Dilberian. These are truly wonderful memories that we are making while doing something special for someone who will have a lifetime of happiness in his forever home!
