Tunnel to Towers to Pay Slain Fort Worth Police Officer Mortgage With Veterans Day Golf Classic

The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation has announced plans to pay off the mortgage on the family home of slain Fort Worth Police Officer Garrett Hull.

The Foundation will dedicate this year’s Veterans Day Golf Classic at Bear Creek Golf Club in Dallas, Texas to the memory of Officer Hull, and the proceeds will help pay off the family’s mortgage. The event is Monday, Nov. 12, 2018. We urge the community to join us and contribute to the cause – complete the 2018 Veterans Day Golf Classic registration form, email us at Golf@t2t.org or call 718-987-1931 to secure your spot.

Officer Hull, a 17-year veteran of the Fort Worth Police Department, was killed on Sept. 14, while attempting to apprehend robbery suspects. He leaves behind a wife, Sabrina, and two daughters, Jordan and Tristen.

Tunnel to Towers’ mission is to support the brave service members and first responders who protect our nation and their families. The Foundation recognizes that, following the sudden loss of a first responder in the line of duty, it is vital to provide reassurance to the surviving family that their home is secure.

The Tunnel to Towers Fallen First Responder Home Program has provided more than $7 million in mortgage payments. In 2016, the Foundation raised funds to help the families of the five slain Dallas officers.

Please consider making a monthly gift of just $11, which can help ensure the Tunnel to Towers Foundation has the resources it needs to help first responder and military families when tragedy strikes. Your gift helps the Foundation to provide the stability and security of a home when these families need it the most.
